New Video: Congressman Kirk Can Run But He Can't Hide From The Truth

CHICAGO - With 23 days and counting since Congressman Mark Kirk has taken questions from reporters on his 10-year history of embellishing his military record and exaggerating his experience as a teacher, U.S. Senate nominee Alexi Giannoulias has been talking about his new ideas and bold solutions to take on Big Oil, create the clean energy jobs of tomorrow, invest in America's infrastructure as well as save hundreds of thousands of American teaching jobs.

"While Congressman Kirk continues to run away from the fact that he has misled the people of Illinois for over a decade about his military and teaching experience, his campaign continues to unravel, engaging in desperate distractions and misleading attacks," said Kathleen Strand.  "Alexi is the only candidate in this race talking about detailed solutions to turn the economy around, create the new jobs of tomorrow and fix what's broken in Washington."

In the past several weeks, Giannoulias has discussed his New Energy Agenda, his proposal for a National Infrastructure Fund, his support for legislation to save up to 300,000 teaching jobs, and his commitment to equal rights for the LGBT community.
