Why Alexi

Alexi’s progressive agenda is aimed at reforming the treasurer’s office and implementing innovative ideas to benefit Illinois residents. Alexi will make money work – for all of Illinois. He will:

Use his financial expertise as a banking executive to make wise and sound investments for Illinois residents

Serve as a financial watchdog, protecting the safekeeping of taxpayer dollars, preventing ethical abuses and ending wasteful government spending.

Encourage economic development by increasing loan access to rural and traditionally underserved areas and women- and minority-owned businesses.

Introduce new programs designed to encourage education savings and develop alternative fuel sources.
