From establishing scholarships to revamping our state’s college investment program, Alexi has helped thousands of students in Illinois realize their dream of a college education. 

He also has taken a tough stand to protect college students from predatory credit card marketing, passing a bill that prohibits credit card companies from luring students into costly contracts with free gifts. The bill also prohibits schools and their affiliates from transferring or selling students' personal information to credit card companies.

He created a scholarship program for the children of heroes who gave their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq, and he's committed himself to increasing financial literacy among Illinois' youth.
